Kuala Lumpur: Where to Go
Kuala Lumpur has a big city feel with malls and buildings everywhere you look. But you’ll also find plenty of nature and no shortage of culture. Here are my top recommendations for spots to check out.
WHERE TO GO
Batu Caves: A little further out, but fun spot to spend a morning exploring.
Bukit Tabur: Day hike.
Central Market: Very cool to walk around.
Dataran Merdeka: Independence Square, cool area to walk around, Kuala Lumpur City Gallery and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building are both very cool.
Infinity Pool at Face Suites: You can see the entire KL skyline from here.
Islamic Arts Museum: Good for a rainy day.
Jamek Mosque: Amazing Architecture.
KL Forest Eco Park: World’s smallest rainforest, located in the heart of the city.
KL Tower: Can walk up to the top.
Petronas Towers: The tallest twin towers in the world.
Setia Alam Night Market: Lots of street food to try.
Sri Maha Mariamman Temple: Oldest Hindu temple in KL.
