Chiang Mai: Where to Go
Here are my recs for things to do around Chiang Mai. You can take this walking tour of the temples and I definitely recommend renting a moto to get outside of the city.
WHERE TO GO
Doi Suthep: Was Phra That temple on top of a mountain, you can hike Monk’s trail up or drive.
Ploen Ruedee: My favorite night market, good hang out spot with food and live music.
Huay Tung Tao Lake: Cool spot to hang out at.
Old City: 4 Mile Square.
Talat Warorot: Chiang Mai’s oldest public market.
Temple Walking Tour: Great way to see a lot of temples.
Saturday Market: Market for souvenirs and local goods, open 5pm-11pm.
Sunday Market: Open 5pm-11pm, outdoor market, better than Saturday.
Wat Phra Singh: One of the most famous temples.
